Literacy is a cornerstone of education, yet in South Africa, a staggering 81% of Grade 4 learners cannot read for meaning. By participating in our Makerspace, you can make a tangible difference in these young lives, helping to lay the foundation for a brighter, more literate future.

Make Literacy Materials

Make literacy materials for under-resourced ECD centers in the comfort of your own home or office! This Mandela Day, you can contribute to our 2024 Makerspace initiative without needing to leave your familiar surroundings. Once you’ve completed your literacy resources, simply deliver them to our office. Your efforts will directly support early childhood education and help us address the urgent literacy crisis in South Africa.
